The owner-hosts were exceptionally accommodating and even offered free transportation to a nearby restaurant.
The bedding appeared unwashed, which was quite off-putting and raised concerns about cleanliness.

Charming stay with beautiful surroundings
I recently enjoyed a delightful getaway surrounded by a lovely pond with ducks and geese. The room had a cozy canopy bed and we were pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere. However, the dining options could have been improved, as the breakfast selection felt limited.

The location was convenient for our travels.
This hotel was absolutely horrendous. The room I stayed in had an infestation of bedbugs. I found at least 25 bugs crawling on the sheets! To make matters worse, I was bitten multiple times while trying to sleep. The management was unhelpful and refused to refund us for the first night, despite the horrific conditions.

comfortable stay with some room for improvement
Check-in was simple with no hidden fees I appreciated the cute decor in the room. The amenities like the fridge and microwave were convenient for our short stay. The peaceful brook nearby added a nice touch with ducks and geese.
However, the bedding could definitely use a more thorough cleaning.

great spot for park views and nearby attractions
the motel is clean and neat, and its convenient location made exploring the area for walks to heritage museums and gardens and beautiful east sandwich beach a total delight. I loved the outdoor space with picnic tables and a cozy fire pit to unwind after a day out. however, maintenance is needed on some exterior features.

Couple getaway, with a catch
We had a fantastic experience with the owners, Brian and Nancy, they were super helpful giving us tips on local spots and even offered us homemade snacks in the morning. The outdoor area with the ducks and a cozy patio made it so relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a long day.
It wasn’t exactly wallet-friendly, but still tolerable.

The queen room featured charming decor and a comfortable four-poster bed, providing a cozy atmosphere. The location offered easy access to several delightful cafes and an impressive bookstore, elevating the overall experience. However, the issues with room availability during my stay created a lot of confusion, making it difficult to focus on my visit. Additionally, noise from other guests disrupted the tranquility I was hoping for, detracting from my stay.
